I don't hear about it much in the West, but the last thing I heard is that it's very successful overseas. (As with the UM versions of each one) since Yashiro and Chris possess lethal combos and Shermie, on the other hand, is a character to choose from three Crossovers (SNK Gals Fighters, Neo Geo Battle Coliseum and SNK Heroines).I probably could have made a better title, but I think King of Fighters is a pretty cool IP. The team popularly becomes a team of choice at The King of Fighters '98 and The King of Fighters 2002 Dream matches. In the ending of the Orochi Team, in KOF '97, Yashiro can be seen murdering his teammates, including Shermie telling him that it was for his good, before he himself commits suicide, in this ending it is implied that from the beginning they desired the resurrection of Orochi and that they would not hesitate to offer their life to achieve it, but that in the end, after seeing the terrible power of the deity, they regret having done it, and to avoid the destruction of the world and weaken the Orochi, all three commit suicide. Although they were defeated by the aforementioned, the team managed to gather enough energy and gave it all to Chris, who used it to transform into the original Orochi figure. It was during the tournament that it was discovered that they were part of the four kings of Orochi (in conjunction with Goenitz and his two friends), their real plan was to gather as much energy as possible to be able to revive Yamata-no-Orochi and withdraw the imprisonment seal imposed 1800 years ago by the Yata clan ( Chizuru Kagura), Kusanagi ( Kyo Kusanagi) and Yasakani ( Iori Yagami). To enter the tournament the team decides to steal the invitations from the USA team (who were supposed to appear in KOF '97: Heavy-D!, Lucky Glauber and Brian Battler) to the tournament in order to participate. The progress of the rock band is interrupted by the success of a musical group, whose leader was Iori Yagami, upon entering the KOF '97 tournament, their original goal was to take revenge on Yagami's band. The team was a rock band (CYS, name taken from the initials of its three members) Yashiro, Shermie and Chris.
